2016 ICAA Paris Drawing Tour

The ICAA invites you on its inaugural five-day drawing and painting program in Paris taking place April 24-29, 2016. Participants at all levels will explore the Neo-Classical Architecture of Paris and its history through lectures and field drawing exercises. They are pleased to announce that acclaimed architectural watercolorists, Andrew Zega and Bernd Dams, will lead drawing and watercolor demonstrations that will enable participants to hone their to observational skills of some of the City’s prominent architectural heritage.

Program

Examining French Classical Architecture through Sketching & Watercolor: The ICAA Paris Drawing Tour is based on the ICAA’s successful annual Rome program. Its purpose is to expand the knowledge of American architects, designers and students in French Classical Architecture, Interiors and Landscape and in the artisan and building traditions still in practice today through centuries-old guilds for the crafts of building.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the Paris Drawing Tour is $2,500 ($2,400 for ICAA members). Travel to and from Paris and accommodation for the duration of the course is not included in the cost.

Scholarship Opportunities & Deadlines

Scholarships are available. Students currently enrolled in higher education programs are encouraged to apply. Those applying for scholarships should use the application form below. Application deadline for scholarships is February 26th.
