Leadership Forum on Design Education & Talent

The Leadership Forum on Design Education & Talent by the Design Futures Council (DFC) will focus on the key trends, issues, and opportunities facing design education from the perspective of the academy and professional practices.

Talent is by far the most important issue facing the A/E/C professions. The talent cycle is a continuum that begins in school and follows the arc of careers.

Attracting, motivating, training, and retaining the next generation of leadership is both a challenge and an opportunity. How does the A/E/C industry remain relevant to future students? How do we develop talent? What about succession plans? These questions and more are addressed at the DFC Leadership Forum on Design Education and Talent.

They will talk about how educators and professionals must come together to address ideas like talent shortages, talent opportunities, and talent cultivation across an organization’s most valuable asset—people.
