METROCON Expo & Conference

Started in 2003, METROCON is the largest not-for-profit [501(c)6], self-produced, volunteer-driven, design specification-focused regional expo and conference in the USA.
The two-day event focuses on introducing the latest in products and innovative ideas to the Southwest region”s community of interior designers, architects, specifiers, facility managers, design students and other essential industry members.
METROCON serves as a model for industry collaboration as it is organized through landmark volunteer effort between the ASID Texas Chapter, ASID Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, CSI Dallas Chapter, NEWH Dallas Chapter, and USGBC Texas Chapter.
Laura McDonald Stewart, the Founder of plinthandchintz.com, was the volunteer Presiding Chair of the 2007 show and has managed and promoted METROCON since 2011.
