This is a bad word. Rather, it should be used to describe someone’s really bad behavior or demeanor. Truculent is an adjective meaning belligerent, cruel, contemptuously insensitive, aggressively insolent and vicious. Get the picture” Yikes!
Example: After all of the years she had dedicated to the firm, her supervisor’s outrageous accusations – and the surprisingly truculent manner in which he confronted her with them in front of everyone at the weekly employee meeting – felt like daggers in Vivian’s heart.
