NCIDQ Going Green
NCIDQ&A 16 years ago No Comments

A new year means new resolutions, and NCIDQ is no exception. We have resolved to “go green” in 2008, and prepared to make it happen. In fact, we have already taken steps to accomplish this important, organization-wide goal. We’re reducing our consumption with the hope of setting an example for the industry and inspiring  interior designers everywhere.

NCIDQ’s first step is to reduce the amount of paper used throughout the office. To achieve this, many of the organization’s processes have moved online. NCIDQ has done away with the paper method for items such as exam applications and registrations, eliminating thousands of paper mailings distributed to its customers. Not only has this step saved trees, it has saved time, producing a faster, easier method for both exam candidates and staff.

NCIDQ recently introduced online newsletters to its community, featuring NCIDQ updates and essential exam information in an improved format that is easy on the eyes and easy on the environment.

In order to be successful in an online world, it is so important that our community be proactive in its involvement, updating their personal information to ensure that NCIDQ has their current e-mail address on file. To update your personal information, go to NCIDQ.org and click on the MyNCIDQ box located on the upper right-hand corner of the page. In order to stay connected, we have to stay involved.
