Nairobi Design Week

Nairobi Design Week is an annual festival that promotes the Kenyan design community, in collaboration with local and international partners. The annual festival gives citizens a chance to explore the scene and participate in projects and conversations concerning their city. By focusing on a theme every year, we curate a select number of events and projects that aim to keep an open dialogue and create tangible outcomes.

Beyond the festival, they work with partners to create an engaging calendar of design events throughout the year. Most recently they helped in organizing the Nairobi International Design Conference (NIDEC) 2017, which brought together some of their key partners from around Kenya and the world to host speaker panels and workshops. Through their online platforms they aim to keep professionals and design enthusiasts updated on some of the latest events and news in Nairobi. By talking to their community we are able to connect agencies, makers, designers and other creatives to clients, collaborators and partner projects.
